The Odd Fellows Cemetery Project

Odd Fellows Cemetery is an African American cemetery in Winston-Salem, NC that dates back to the turn of the 20th century. Situated on over 10 acres, this historic cemetery contains an estimated 10,000 graves. The cemetery records have been lost and the cemetery itself has been overgrown for decades. There has been an ongoing effort to preserve this piece of Winston-Salem, NC history; however, this is a monumental feat. Volunteers and donations are desperately needed for this effort. This web site has been created to assist in that effort by collecting and sharing data about the history of the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
